Our Partnership

At Fiorella di Reggio Emilia School, we believe that every child, regardless of background, deserves access to a beautiful beginning. Rooted in the Reggio Emilia approach, our Early Learning Center is dedicated to offering affordable, high-quality early education that nurtures the innate potential of each child, especially those from low-income families. We honor childhood as a time of wonder, creativity, and endless possibility. Our curriculum is guided by the most current research in early childhood development and shaped by the voices, interests, and curiosity of our students. Through a play-based, inquiry-driven environment, children are empowered to explore, create, and construct their own knowledge at their own rhythm.

At Fiorella, learning is integrated across literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, the arts, and physical movement, all woven into meaningful projects that connect children to their community and the world around them. We believe in fostering capable, confident thinkers, children who feel seen, heard, and inspired.

Fiorella di Reggio Emilia School – Kindergarten Program

As we prepare to welcome families into our new Kindergarten program,
we’ve compiled answers to common questions, rooted in our philosophy and
backed by nationally and internationally recognized standards.

Our kindergarten curriculum supports the whole child, academically, socially, emotionally, and creatively.
Students explore foundational literacy and numeracy while engaging in inquiry-based learning that promotes critical thinking, curiosity, and collaboration.
We align our program with: NAEYC standards, ensuring high-quality, developmentally appropriate learning Texas Rising Star benchmarks, promoting accountability and continuous improvement The International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme, encouraging inquiry, reflection, and global mindedness The Reggio Emilia philosophy, recognizing each child as competent, capable, and full of potential As part of our Pre-Kinder Partnership with AISD and United Way, we are constantly supported, coached, and mentored to ensure our students receive the tools and experiences they need to transition confidently to kindergarten. This collaboration strengthens our focus on social- emotional readiness, language development, and academic milestones. Kindergarten readiness is not just about reading and writing; it is about building a foundation of emotional intelligence, independence, and joy in learning. We believe that children who feel seen, valued, and emotionally supported will thrive in all areas of life.
Read together, engage in conversation, explore nature, and encourage independence in routines (like dressing, cleaning up, and expressing emotions).
Help your child feel empowered, not pressured; emotional security is key to academic success.
Our team will partner with you through the transition, offering family conferences, resources, and ongoing support to help your child thrive.
🌿 What sets your kindergarten apart from others? We are not just a school, we are a learning community where children are empowered to discover, question, and create.
What makes us unique: Reggio Emilia-inspired environments that inspire wonder and imagination Spanish immersion, promoting bilingualism and cognitive development Inquiry-based instruction, grounded in the IB PYP framework A strong focus on emotional intelligence through Conscious Discipline Small class sizes with individualized attention Daily enrichment in nature exploration, music, art, movement, and STEM We nurture thinkers, problem-solvers, leaders, and compassionate citizens. We don’t just prepare children for the next grade—we prepare them for life.
Enrollment is now open! To get started: 1. Schedule a tour of our campus to see our classrooms and philosophy in action 2. Complete the enrollment forms, available during your visit or upon request 3. Submit your child’s birth certificate, immunization records, and application materials 4. We’ll schedule a family meeting to ensure our program is the best fit for your child Our team is here to guide you every step of the way.
Children must be 5 years old on or before September 1st to be eligible for enrollment in our kindergarten program, in alignment with Texas state guidelines and our developmental readiness expectations.
At Fiorella di Reggio Emilia School, we believe kindergarten is a beginning filled with possibility. It is where children discover who they are as learners, friends, and growing individuals.
Through a nurturing, bilingual, inquiry-based environment, we help each child bloom academically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually.
We can’t wait to walk this journey with you. Warmly
